The Hugawugs are soft, furry, colorful friends with outstretched arms just right for hugging. The Hugawugs love silly fun, and they make perfect friends for toddlers and preschoolers.

The Hugawugs sprung from the imaginations of Wugaboo LLC, creators of fun and advocates of silliness! We are committed to developing products with which a child can build a cherished relationship. Wugaboo’s goal is to create safe, high-quality products that encourage kids and their parents to learn, explore, and play together.

Sit down for story time with your child, open up a Hugawugs book, and together explore their fun, silly world. The Hugawugs model polite behavior, kindness toward animals, the importance of exercise, a love for the outdoors, and of course, lots of silly fun!

Every page provides many different levels of interaction with your child, beyond just reading the story. Search for the two mice that appear throughout each book. Look for different colors in each illustration and ask your child to name them. Count aloud the number of items in an illustration, like bubbles or puppies. Point out items that start with different letters of the alphabet. Begin basic word and letter recognition by matching images to the words in the story. Ask your child to name different actions that the Hugawugs are doing, like run, jump, dance, and splash, and then act it out too. You and your child can return to each Hugawugs book again and again, making the Hugawugs a story time favorite.
